Just thought someone may want to pass theirs on before I purchase a new one. I'm only going to wait for a couple days.... This is the Trokar Pro Swim Jig.
Thanks.

I'm still looking for an early model of this mold. Do-it has changed the design some from the original. The pic below is the original mold. Do it does not have any left and they wont make any more of them. So I'm looking for one.

I don't have one but when you find one and modify it to make "bladed jigs" I could use some.

I have the same mold already, But "Do-it" changed the 1/4oz cavity. They added more lead around the weed gaurd base to help hold it in... But the lead gets in the way of the blade laying down to expose the hook when making bladed jigs. I dont use 1/4oz much, And I just trim the lead off when I do. But it dont look as good as a finished product to me. The fish dont care, But I do.

When I first got that mold I called Do-it about the extra lead around the weed guard area of the 1/4oz cavity. I was told that the mold in the picture without that little piece was from the original prototype and no molds like that were ever offered for retail sale. I have never talked to anyone who has that mold without the modified 1/4oz cavity so it is possible there isn't any out there.
Thanks... But Kyle lead me to believe it was a change after some were sold.

I wonder if they really know if any were sold like that. Jordan gave me the number for a guy in the shop who basically works with the molds when I asked about that. When I called the guy I spoke to told me after some testing they revised the design. He said it was in the prototype stage when they found the issue so they made the revision but that version was never available for retail sale. I know there are some guys on the Do-it forum that seem to get molds before I ever find them for sale so it may be possible that a few of those were released before public sales happened. I do know 2 guys that had preordered the mold from Zeiner's and got them the day they came out and they too have the little knob on the 1/4oz like my mold has. I asked because I saw the same picture and I didn't even notice it was on my mold until I poured it and that was when I called Do-it. After Do-it told me they didn't offer that version I contacted the 2 guys I knew that preordered it and both of them had the same mold I did. I think the best way to deal with it is by using the casting putty or RTV silicone and fill that section in as I think if there are any molds like that out there it will be like trying to find a needle in a haystack, good luck and I would be interested to know if you do find that version of the mold.
I have a feeling you are 100% correct. Thanks.
