    Don't know why they haven't offered a 250 or 300R with 1:62 yet

I think it's because they ran out of time before release. That 1.75 sportmaster is directly from the 400r and I think they bolted it on and ran with it. It works with the 400r because they don't have as much torque and have the higher rev limit

I think it was a SST with a 300r. Boat in picture above. Supposedly finding the right prop is the issue.

Thats what I am hearing, I mean 34 pitch props are not on every corner like a 28 or 30, I am curious to hear what the 1.62 lower does.

That 15.5x34 cleaver was a topend prop, not a fishing prop. You would need a 30 Promax or a 31 Bravo one for a true fishing prop on the 21SST/300R with 1.75 gears. The 1.75 gears are fine for fishing on all of the Bullet boats except for maybe the 20'ers. With the 20'ers you'd need to run a 31-32 pitch loaded to fish.

Yes I was the one who ran the 21SST/300R 103 MPH. I've run the 250 HP and the 300HP on a 21SST...the motors are very impressive. The 4 stroke 250HP will run pretty much the same speed as the 250HP 2 stroke, but have a better hole shot and mid range. The 300R is as strong as a 300X and has a great hole shot and mid range. The new motors are VERY smooth running motors.
