    Trailer Brakes

I've never had a boat long enough to wear out the brake pads on my trailer before. I have an XRS and the passenger side disc are grooved up pretty bad and making a grinding sound when stopping. I'm not sure if I should have them turned and install new pads or should I just buy the whole assembly with pads and calipers .... not even sure if that's possible. I looked on Boatmate's site and it looks like you can. Anyone gone through this yet or have suggestons?

Some places still turn rotors, but depending on the groove depth, I’d buy new. I have a boatmate trailer and when comes to brakes and hubs, I’ve ordered through pacifictrailer.com for all my parts. Just got one order in today, with bearings, races and seals for my UFP gold series hubs. Cheapest place I’ve found and quick delivery.
