Rim size
Hello all. I have 14x5.5 rims can I change to a 14x6 rim? Will be using same size tire 215/75/14.

That is only a 1/2 inch....but make sure the off set is the same....if so it will work.

Trailer rims USUALLY have a 0 offset, so a 6” wide wheel is 3” in and 3” out. If you have any clearance issues now you need a positive or negative offset depending on which side you’re having issues. If you’re just putting new rims on I doubt you will have any issues at all since that’s only 1/4” wider on each side.
