    Bigger/Heavier vibrating jigs.

I made these today... 3/4, 1oz, 1 1/4, and 1.5oz .. Bottom pic is comparing 3/8 to 1.5oz. 7/0 hooks on the big boys. Bigger trailer keeper.

I make some 3/4 and 1 ounce , the extra weight seems to soften the vibration.

A belt sander will cut those down to size pretty quickly.

I have tried a ton and settled on an Eagle Claw Lazer L3886BP... They are better than you think. These are not the old Eagle Claw hooks most remember.

I don't want to do that much work and have inconsistency. And the holes will be in the wrong location proportionately.

I saw these while looking for something else earlier. There are a few size options under the “color” selection.

    21xdc,

any issue sue with those blades bending or flexing? Seems like you caught a bunch on them. Got some but haven’t used yet, but they are thinner than the old coffins I had from Barlow’s. More like the old Phoenix, I figure they’re fine but thought I’d ask....thanks

None. They seem to be exactly the same as the the brand name.

Are you building these to get deeper quicker and to make a larger profile? We don't have super deep lakes here, since i'm new to these types of baits just curious as to their advantages for you.

The heavy ones are for wintering holes I fish. The fish get into super schools. Instead of spoons and 10XD's.

My goodness those look awesome. Probably not what you have in mind (or maybe it is?), but those should make an awesome football jig substitute to show those fish on the deep rocks and “extended” outside weed edges a little something different!!
