    Plugging V20 Livewells

Do any of you plug your V20 livewells when not in use? I tried but water still finds its way in. I rarely use the livewells and would like to keep the water weight out during use unless actually needed?

Are you plugging both drains in the livewell? Make sure you plug the overflow on the top of the livewell too. If you reverse hard you'll get some water in the wells.. Not a lot though.

Check out flow-rite and install a remote drain.

It gets in from the full pumps when you backup. Never seen it come from over flow.

Mine naturally fill every time I launch without the plugs put in. If I plug water still seeps in over time. Not a big issue but I did notice the wells fill to about 1/3 to 1/2 if not plugged.
