I wonder if it the motor is the same height as the 2-Stroke ProXS when mounted on the boat....
With the engine titled on TH Motor sticks I am reading approx 79". Gonna have be careful pulling out of my garage.

I think it is by maybe an 1" or 2 when tilted. Honestly this will be the first time I have pulled it out of my garage with the motor sticks on.

I think it is about 4 inches higher compared to the Opti... This is based on what I am seeing in the showrooms on boats with the different motors...

That may be when level, but when tilted its less then 4 inches. I did not have much room when backing my opti into my garage.

Those new motors do look a lot better when the boat is in the water I have noticed. I think some people got too hyper on performance expectations because of it being a V8. I think 250 horsepower is going to be 250 horsepower V4 or V6 or whatever. They do sound great. I had forgotten how much the much older 2 strokes smoked until seeing a couple at the ramp. No wonder I was never bothered by bugs on the lake when I was younger. Good luck with your new boat.

Bryan, is your boat and motor both a 2019 model year?

I'm thinking about going from my Skeeter ZX 250 to a Z21. I am just a little nervous. How is the quality and ride of the Z21? I like the layout of the boat. The storage is phenomenal. Thanks!

I never had an issue with quality. Of course in every boats I always see things I wish they could do differently.

All manufacturers build a good boat these days, I guess it comes down to price and features. You had a chance to open the new Merc up yet?

That's about what I get in my Skeeter. I love the layout and the storage of the Nitro, and the biggest selling point is you can rig them with extras and come out thousands of dollars cheaper than other manufacturers.

This is pretty good. What RPMs, prop? What did your proxs run out of the box? As you know, they run hot out of the box.
