19 721 pro xp setup info

Does anyone have any setup info on a new 721 with the new merc 250? I just got mine broke in and am ready to get the setup dialed in.

You may be one of the first on here with the new 4s 250/721. What is your setup and numbers?

All I have done is break it in so far i am 2 hours in. I should have some base line numbers after this weekend. I feel like the 24p fury it came with will end up being too small but only time will tell.

Congratulations on the new 721 with the V8! Could you post some pictures when you get a chance?

I was able to open her up a little today. The current p2p is about 3 1/2" to 3 1/4". I was able to get 74mph at 5900 or so rpm. She had more in her as I wasn't trimmed out but the chine walk caused me to let off. I guess I need to learn to drive or jack the motor up a little. Any thoughts?

Finish breaking in the motor before adjusting the motor height.

Great looking rig! Wieda's is a good place to buy from! Plenty of knowledge and they are good fishermen as well.

Do you happen to have any updated set up info for your 721? Just curious because mine will be here in a few weeks

I’ve got a 19 721 with 250 merc im running a bobs 10” Hydro on 3-4 so about 50-60% up on the plate with a 25p fury I run 74-78 and holeshot is good and no walking, but I came out of a stratos 201 so I’m pretty much used to driving a boat

Also the rpms at wot are 5920 give or take so I’m not killing my motor , I like the 25 fury boat just runs better to me I tried the 24 and it just felt like it needed more but no two props are the same and it could just have been the way it is with my set up

Awesome...that sounds like the setup I will have in a few weeks. I happen to have a Temp+ 26 BP by Mark. I plan to try it once I get the Merc broken in just to see.
