    Setup help

    New Alumacraft Pro 185 with Yamaha 115 sho, boat is factory stock setup now. Very happy with the boat as it fish's very good and preforms fairly well as is, 48mph at 6000rpm with no jackplate and an alum prop. I would like to get the optimal setup for this rig and add a jackplate and stainless prop, but really have no ideal where to begin. Does anyone have any knowledge of this boat or where to get some help with getting this dialed in.

    First thing I would do is talk to the dealer about a manual jackplate. Do they recommend it and what size.
    Made a big difference for my last boat, holeshot and top speed.
