Update...Caught a 5.8 lmb on this combo today and was very pleased. The reel will cast a wacky rigged senko a mile and a 3.2 kietech fat on a 3/32 underspin will spool you, reel felt very solid. The rod a Megabass Hien Destroyer has a lot of whip for casting and when hooked up on fish the backbone really kicked in about half way down and I always felt in control. This combo has quickly become one of my favorites.

I've been thinking about getting a Hein for the Duo 80 spybaits and was wondering how the rod reacted. With rods like this I'm always concerned about how quickly the rod recovers when a big smallie decides to go airborne and the pressure on the rod suddenly disappears. I'd pair it with an SV105 P or a Zillion SV TW P with an RCS 1012 SV spool.
