Here is my 2005 PT 185 with a 60hp Tracker Mercury on it. These were taken the day I got it about 2 years ago. I need to get some new pics.

My “Golden Rule” was a bit to long so with some careful consideration I trimmed mine. See, where we fish and compete we have a 14” minimum, except that two may be less than 14”. So I decided to cut mine to just over 14” since that is the sweet measurement that I really need. Also for the record, I have a rule inside the livewell lid for longer measurements when needed.

2019 Tracker 195 Tournament Edition. Ordered through BPS and received 3 weeks ago. This boat handles very well on the water with the 150 HP 4 stroke.

    New (to me) Boat

I got rid of my Triton when my youngest son was born. Keeping it with a baby around, just didn't seem doable for me, at the time. So I haven't posted in quite a while.

Fast forward 12 years and he's turned out to be a heck of a fisherman. He loves to fish. We've spent some time hitting lakes, bank and dock fishing, the last 5 years Surf Fishing in Florida when we go on our yearly vacation. My favorite type of fishing by far, sit with your butt in the sand, beer in your hand, and wait for the pole to bend. I catch my bait right there in the surf too.

Anyway, he and I now have a boat to do some crappie, and bass fishing. He likes the fast paced bass fishing, and I prefer the easy going crappie fishing.

The electronics on it are dated, one not working properly, and the carpet is shot. Everything else is in great condition. We bought a Lowrance Elite 9TI (ON SALE) for the console and a Garmin Echomap Plus 43CV for the bow. They both have Navionics built in and both came with the proper transducers. Also have new carpet and latches on the way. After that, it should be ready to go.

2003 Bass Tracker Silver Anniversary PT185 w/90HP Mercury.

I have the same boat, 2005, it is still a great boat, 90 has been bullet proof but mine is not as shiny as yours. Best of luck and enjoy the valued time with your son...
