    With something that bad I would call the county and have it repaved. Oil stained pavement is not acceptable. Just think of what all the neighbors are saying.

    He may live in one of those neighborhoods with the nasty HOA nazi's that's blaming him for the stain. So he may be having to get rid of it or be fined, sued, kicked out or any of the normal troubles associated with those folks.

    It would be time for me to move. We live on a 55 acre farm and I could still use more privacy.

    If your not careful, you may end up softening the asphalt and then you'll have a pothole to stew over. I myself would not put any petroleum based anything on it. Cat litter/speedy dry is your safest bet.
