Livewell timer

Hey Men.

Have a 2000 20 SS. cannot get the livewell pumps to work, aux work fine. It is my understanding that only the main run off the timer? Looking at replacing timer but unsure which one. Yes it looks like a red shotgun shell and has 4 ports on it but there are more than 4 wires going into the plug. How do I identify which it is have seen timers that are 3,4,5 wire>

I'm working on the same thing on my 99 201 PE this weekend. I'm going to try working in a rig rite 520 timer. It might take a little customizing, but it should work.

There are fuses behind the switch panel. Check them first. Both aux and main pumps will run on the timer as long as the fuses aren't blown.

works great and I like being able to better customize the flow rates.

It was a very tight fit but the two of them did fit and I am able to control the flow rate of each individually. I don’t recall how I did the wiring to be honest but I do recall it was pretty easy. If you go this route let me know I can send you some pictures.
