Need advice on which replacement Fulton F2 winch to get

My boat's trailer came with a pretty cheap, basic Fulton winch that is only rated for 1300 lbs. I was actually a little surprised how low the rating was for my boat as I'm sure it weighs close to 2750 lbs loaded. Anyway, I see there is a two-speed F2 rated foe 3200 lbs and a regular single speed F2 rated at 2000 lbs. Both are likely a major upgrade to what I've got now. Any reason why I should spend the extra $50 on the two speed? I really don't struggle too bad with the current winch but I certainly wouldn't mind a little better pulling power.

You don't need to match the weight of your boat with the winch, but the F2 is a nice upgrade. Even the single speed has a couple of handle positions to get you more power. Just be sure you have the clearance between the bow and the handle. That can be a problem on some larger winches.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
    nothing else matters.

Thanks. I'd honestly rather save the money if I don't need the 3200 lb two-speed F2. Appreciate the advice!

The Fulton F2 has a 1600lb single speed as well. I got mine 2 days ago and the gears are simply huge compared to the winch that was on my boat. For $80 I think it’s a great upgrade.

F2 on my 21 ft Skeeter works perfect. No need for the 2 speed.

Bought the regular F2 and it should get to my house tomorrow. Will install it along with my new UFP a-60 surge brake actuator soon which will complete my trailer refresh!

I bought this 1600# F-2 last year and love it. Works great for my 18'9" Nitro. I switched the crank handle to the starboard side so I can crank it up from up on the deck instead of wading in the water.
    Don't worry Ma'am....

Heck! I don't know. I got mine in just a couple of days last year when I bought it. There are a bunch of other sellers but they're all higher priced... https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...&condition=new

The Fulton store on amazon was out of them 2 weeks ago when I got mine so I paid a couple extra extra bucks and got it from someone else. It took 2-3 days to get to me. Mine is the 1600lb one and it barely fit on my little trailer but works great!
It did say usually ships in one to two months....I didn’t see that before!

Ok, my seller was AutoToyTrucks...because the shipping wording scared me. They were
a few dollars more but I got it fast. Sorry for the confusion.
