I like 3000 size reels.
I also use 3000 series and have had less line twist with the larger
spool on this series reel.
I use Daiwa reels and mostly use the 2500 but use 3000 also. I have a few Pfluegers also and those are a size 35 which seems to be the same size as the 2500s

I drop shot with a 2500 but I'm using 6lb line. I'm about to nswitch to a 2000 for that though. The reels I have 10lb on are 3000 and they don't get used much.
2500 or 3000 daiwa.
I've found that some Daiwa reels are almost a size bigger than what you'll see for other brands, for what that's worth. And it's entirely possible it's just the reels I've used from them, which would include the Revros, RG, and BG. For example, a 2500 is roughly the same size as other brands' 3000.
