    ECU programming by Hydro Tec

    Hydro Tec has been offering ECU programming for over 10 years and are the Yamaha experts. We are available to answer your questions and help you with setup and props. We offer same day service if using UPS. Your ECU is tested on Hydro Tec's simulator before shipping and is cleared of the codes that are displayed when it is flashed.     Send ecu with return address and phone number and what tune you want. Also you will need the throttle cam replaced on that model.

    Which years/hp require the throttle cam replacement, and what is the reason? Just curious, thanks.

    Interested in this as well. I have read most threads about flashing the SHO and don’t recall ever seeing that anything needed to be done other than flashing he ecu. Where can I get the replacement part?

    Hydro Tec is a Yamaha service center as well so they can get any Yamaha part you need.

    Is there direction on removing the ecu and throttle cam on an 2006 Yamaha VMAX HPDI?

    If you have an SHO, there is no throttle cam to remove. The throttle body is servo controlled.
