    Hydro Tec has been offering ECU programming for over 10 years and are the Yamaha experts. We are available to answer your questions and help you with setup and props. We offer same day service if using UPS. Your ECU is tested on Hydro Tec's simulator before shipping and is cleared of the codes that are displayed when it is flashed.     Which years/hp require the throttle cam replacement, and what is the reason? Just curious, thanks.

    Interested in this as well. I have read most threads about flashing the SHO and don’t recall ever seeing that anything needed to be done other than flashing he ecu. Where can I get the replacement part?

    Is there direction on removing the ecu and throttle cam on an 2006 Yamaha VMAX HPDI?

    If you have an SHO, there is no throttle cam to remove. The throttle body is servo controlled.
