    Lobdell, Bennet, Hoisington...

    I've got a club tourney coming up on Lobdell. Are Bennett and Hoisington worth checking out for pre-fishing. Wouldn't mind getting away from the crowd...

    Yes they are worth checking out, there are some fish back there.
    Lobdell is a bit different this year, the weedkill has some of the historically good areas not producing many fish. That said new areas have been created.
    When I have found them this year they have been bunched up.

    When did they do a weedkill? I hate when they do that to lakes...I suppose if you find some good healthy weeds there are bound to be fish around.

    It has been a few weeks I guess, but yes find weeds and there will be fish. Also the water temp is in the 80's right now, if I were in a tourney I would probably look deep with a drop shot or jig.

    Also I would target the main lake starting with a topwater, if you get a dark drizzly day throw a chatterbait.
