    140 Prop for bass boat

So I have a Champion 171DC 17’ that I repowered with a 2017 140. I had a 115 2 stroke Mercury with a 23” trophy that ran really well. Any suggestions on a good prop and pitch to start with? I tried a friends 23” laser 2 and I could hit the rev limiter trimmed out but no matter where I had the trim and jack plate set I couldn’t get the bow from plowing.

I would try to find a similar pitched 4 bladed prop. Even though I have the 250SS, I have noticed that whenever I run my 27P Fury, my boat plows and my top end sucks as well, but the hole shot is pretty good. When I ran my 26P Suzuki, my bow lift and top end were better and my 29P Suzuki prop has better lift compared to my Fury prop as well. I'm not sure if it's a 3 or 4 bladed thing or Suzuki/Mercury prop thing.

I run a 3 blade 14x23 Suzuki stainless steel on my 2017 Polar Kraft 195 Pro / Suzuki 140A. Get right to the max rpm (6,000-6.200) with just me in boat & great holeshot too!
Don't give up! You're going to LOVE that Zuke 140 once you get it dialed in!
