I can tell you that the only down side of the T-wells is the depth. You will have your water up to your shoulder grabbing a fish at the bottom. They are very deep.
Thus I always have a culling tag attached to my fish, unless they headed to Crisco, than it doesn't matter.

They also have dual spray bars in each well. One is for aeration the other for circulation. One pump pulls from the live well and circulates the live well water.
The other pump / spray bar pulls a percent of fresh water and live well water.
The dark grey color keeps the fish calmer.

At weigh in, my fish are always hyper as hell. The comments are always "Damn Bass cat Live wells"!
