I have a 2008 Cougar and I want to add a second graph at the console. I have read where guys have attached a mount where the pop-up cleat is. For those that have done this, what mount did you use? Can a get away with just two screws?

I've seen Balzout as well as ram mounts setup where the cleat is. The two screws should line up and a 3rd is normally drilled for for stability, especially for the larger mounts.
I personally bought a couple different mounts and didn't like the angles or setup with the throttle right there by it (especially if you don't run a hot foot) and finally went with a Bass Boat Technologies dual console mount for my helix 9 and helix 12.
Thanks. Unfortunately my console does not lend itself to a dual graph mount. I wish it did.

Anyone else notice how the dash designs are smaller and streamlined while the monitors are getting bigger and bigger?
On the Balzout mount for this application which base would match the cleat holes better? The round or bullet?
I went with the round as recommended by balzout. 2 of the 4 holes lined up with cleat screw holes. I drilled and added screws to the other 2 holes as well. Just using the existing holes will not be enough.

I went with the ram mount Rick and Ivan recommended. Worked great.
