    Monroe Hoosier Open 7/22

I know some of you guys fished it, how'd you do? I heard there were multiple 20 lb bags and lots of limits. Anyone have actual numbers? They won't post anything for weeks, just curious.

Fished it. We had 15.40 for 11th. Really good weights for July. It was a perfect day tho. Cloudy, breeze, rain, sun

I sucked horribly. So for me, the lake was awful.

Wow over 26lbs without a true 6 pounder. That’s a stout bag of 5 pounders there. They hammer up there for sure

What were 4th to 10th? I'd bet the weights drop off pretty drastically. How many blanked? The saying 10% of fisherman catch 90% of the fish holds really true here.

27 teams had over 10 lbs on the "dead sea", not bad for Indiana.

No that’s pretty respectable day in Indiana. I gotta get up there and start fishing more. Gotta be better than Patoka is now. Lol

IMO the lakes have basically switched over the last few years

Probably switched because the grass has switched.

Yep. They both have walleye, wipers, yellow bass, and way to much boat traffic. The only difference now is the grass.

We're still catching a lot of fish in the 8 to 12 inch range this year. Fishing should be good for a few years in the future.
