    It finally happened

My Son came home from the Navy at White Sands NM. We played 2 rounds. I beat him on the first and planned on beating him for at least the next 10 years. Nope, he won the second game. What a bummer! My wife said it's because I'm getting older. I think that's a cop out. I guess it's ok for a 41 year old to beat a 68 year old once in a while.

Good for you both. You held him off for a long time.
The most important thing about Golf is that it is one of the few games that a son and father 41 and 68 can play and compete and have fun.
It makes you get outdoors and walk and swing and enjoy kids, spouses, grandkids, friends, enemies, birds, deer, foxes, squirrels, geese, hawks, coyotes, alligators, ducks, ponds, creeks, waterfalls, oceans, lakes, and many more things I am sure you all can think of.
    what a great game.
How lucky you are to have a son to beat you!
