I'm a N.C. guy looking deer hunting land in Ohio for me and a hunting buddy. What's the chance to find some??

There’s public hunting land scattered across the state . You’ll have a hard time just getting permission from people . And if your looking to buy it’s not going to be cheap. There are starting to be several guides around the state that would be another option but again it’s not going to be cheap .. I’ve never hunted deer on public but I was on some stomping around looking for some squirrels last year and ran into some good looking deer sign ..

Either one. I’d rather have private land unless someone could recommend some low pressured public land

No such thing as low pressured public land in Ohio. Private land is getting harder and harder to come by too, unless your pockets are pretty deep.

I will get some contacts for you, or at least try. Vinton County and Jackson County is still cheap to lease and offers ample deer population plus decent size bucks.

too many record sized deer here last 10 years so the hot spots are well hunted. kinda get hammered weekly/daily as do our lakes
