Anyone fish Panther Creek lately? Thinking about going over this week.

Yes I have. Lake has some big bass in it. I love catching bass on a frog in the slop. I've been there when the slop is a solid mat and have caught 20 lb limit several times. Several times I've been and the slop is not as thick and I didn't do as well.

I basically am wondering how thick the weeds and moss are.

A park road improvement/resurfacing project at Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Fish and Wildlife Area in Cass Co. will affect access to the site during the month of July and will require the closure of the site’s Prairie Lake and Questing Hills campgrounds from July 16-27. The road project at Jim Edgar Panther Creek SFWA. Site visitors may encounter road closures for several weeks while roadway improvements are made.

Was there bout 3 weeks ago. Grass wasn't doing good at all then. Lot of dead grass up shallow. I only found healthy grass deep. Hope it has improved since then.
