2, one bait one spinning but I am just getting back into fishing. Want to buy more but they have to wait, we're doing the Dave Ramsey plan so we can buy/build a new house in the spring, I'm hoping to find the perfect place on a lake somewhere.

I bass fish as well as crappie fish so I have a pretty large selection of rod/reel combos. I couldn't begin to list them but I know it's well over 50.

Bass rigs, striper rigs, crappie rigs. So many I can't seem to keep fresh line on all of them.

12 bait casting, (I really only like 8 of them, some purchased while I was learning) and 3 spinning for bass. 3 spinning and 1 bait casting for stripper or to take to the beach for surf fishing.

Around 80 with reels attached. I had many more but gave my grandsons boy scout troop around 30 and have given a few outfits to BBC brothers who have posted about hard times and tackle loss. I am retired and one of the things I enjoy is trying out new rods and reels.

I dare you to throw some of my most productive trout stuff any distance with a baitcaster! 6lb Nanofil with a 6' 4lb Sensation leader on a medium/lite rod allows for LONG casts and is a big part of my great success. Presentation is everything and trout are spooky. Sometimes I wonder why I own a bass boat and not a long fiberglass shoal runner since I enjoy trout fishing way more than bass fishing. Only bass fish because it's more convenient.

As far as bass setups go, at least 8 baitcast combos that are ready to go and 3 fairy wands. The two trout rods get thrown in too when needed.

I think I have maybe 8 baitcasters and 4 spinning rigs. But I only have 3 or 4 on the deck at any one time.

I am down to 23 combos, from panfish to musky. Over the last year I have sold/donated 18 combos. Trying to reduce clutter and only keep what I actually use now.
