Results of July NoAl tournament on Guntersville......

The monthly NoAl tournament was held today at Guntersville with decent five boat turnout. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t exactly cooperate with high winds and thunderstorms for the first half of the morning followed by incredibly hot, humid weather after that. The fish didn’t exactly cooperate for most of us either but, as usual, someone was able to unlock the secret and find the fish. Derek Coburn and Jarrett Floyd managed to bring in the only five-fish limit of the day weighing a total of 16.91 pounds for first place with a real nice 5.72 pound largemouth for big fish honors.

Thanks again to everyone who participated and I look forward to seeing everyone again next month. The location fo next month’s tournament has yet to be determined but look for a post in the next couple of days for more information.

It was good to see everyone. Hope to do it again soon. August will be a no go though. Daughter is moving back into her dorm and will need Dad's help (and truck.)
