    Prop question.

    Question I hope somebody can answer for me before my new 4 stroke pro xs arrives. My 2016 z20 with 250 2 stroke came with a 25 fury. Runs fine. My buddies 2018 ranger 520L also came with a 25 fury. Same guys 2019 520L came with a 23p and new 4 stroke. Now all of a sudden with these new 4 stroke pro xs engines 20 and 21 foot bass boats are coming with 23p fury. Why the change in 2” of pitch? Should I be looking into finding a 23? I thought these new motors had more torque so you would think it wouldn’t need a lower pitch prop to get out of the hole.

    I’m honking it’s the increase from 6000 rpm max to 6250 on the new engines.
