What software version do I need to be able to link my 998 to my new Ultrex with Ipilot link and also link to my 1198 at the console. I realize I will need a Ethernet port.

Both should have the current software version 7.670 that was released three years ago.

They can work with the Ultrex but not to the full potential of the TM. They didn't update them for the new Bluetooth TMs as they did with the XX9/Helix Models. Circle mode for sure and maybe Jogging mode may be missing. All the other basic capabilities similar to the older model electric TMs are there.
