I'll share what I've got going but texting would be easier for continued talking 918 530-2112. Mine is a 21ss with 250 sport xs 1.62 sportmaster. I'm running a 28 bravo 1 3/4 above lost water pressure above that with 14" jackplate with ideal conditions mines been 87 with partner (fishing), gear, full fuel, and livewells full. Granted we fish light compared to alot of people. Solo I've been to 94 but I know several are doing better than me Oklahoma heat is a killer this time of yr

I've never had a bravo that liked to run very high on the plate. Usually run them 3/4 to 1" above. Unless the boat was very light I saw no gain above 1".

My set up for fishing is a 29 bravo worked by Croxton. 88mph loaded heavy 3/4 to 1" above

    Light fishing 27 promax 1 3/4 above. 93mph @ 6300

    21ss 300 xs 12" bobs hyd. plate

Running a 30p bravo anywhere between 1.25" to 1.50" above best I've saw is 86 mph solo with a tournament load. My boat is heavier than most with a hydraulic plate and 2 powerpoles.

I run a 250 SHO 3/4 below pad at 87 MPH tournament load 1 person 3/4 tank fuel 25 rods 9 Plano Boxes and 2 buckets of plastics 24v trolling motor guide, box of tools 4 life jackets and spare prop. This run was made in 50* water temp with lab finished 30 pro max it had more. Motor is not flashed.

currently I’m running a 29 bravo FS at 84 mph in 70* water temp hitting the rev limiter

with 2 people livewells full tournament load dead heat of summertime I’m running 80 81 with 29 bravo

250 pro xs, verado lower, 29 hydromotive worked by Mark, 3/4 below the pad. Heat of summer its fishing up river at 81, cool weather 83.

What is odd, is that I bolted on a sportmaster this summer, and I can't seem to run any faster (loaded)

I have 2 poles, 4 batteries, 112 fortrex, 50 gallons of gas, lots or rods/tackle.

What prop height did you run with the sportmaster?

    1.25, then 1.5.

It was a little faster empty, but the same loaded.

Ran the hydro, 28 pro max, 28 txp.

I've heard several people say the Bravo FS, vs the XS. What are the differences?

I have a fs on mine bought used worked for your boat I believe wouldn't come out of the hole on mine had Tim bostic cut 4 more holes comes out good now. The holes are the only difference I'm aware of and you can always plug what you dont need

It will be very slow out of the hole with only one set of holes. On my setup I run one solid plug when you add another one the engine will start to bog some with 1.62 gears.

the speed your running is about right. What happens is people get on here and lie about there numbers so people think there boat should run faster . No cookie cutter will run 81 up river loaded to fish

My hole shot with 29 Bravo FS is unbelievable with just me in boat full full 32 gallons of fuel and full fishing load will run 84 before it hits limiter at 6150 down river summertime heat . In the winter time it hits the limiter at 82 I don’t understand this .

sinice you have poles and 36 volt troller your numbers are about right. Take the poles off and install 24v troller your running 84 up river 85 86 cooler water full fishing load. From I’ve been told the pro xs is a 1 or 2 mph faster too end . But the pro xs isn’t even in the same conversation when it comes to Hole shot vs the Yamaha SHO

I still think there is some to gain on your setup. Have you balanced the boat?
