2017 ProXs 115 HP 2 stroke Cranking Battery Requirement

Can post serial number later if needed.

I was wondering if the 115 has the same cranking amperage requirements as the larger motors? Looks like the boat came with an interstate 27M 800cca battery. Seems like I do notice a voltage drop when in idle and I trim up or down.

The Optimax requires a minimum 800CCA/1000MCA for engine only. If you're running anything else off the same battery (pumps, graphs, poles, etc.) you need more capacity. See this topic from the FAQ in the 3L forum and follow Don's recommendation to select a battery with at least 950CCA for fishing applications (applies to ALL Optimax engines) - BATTERIES THAT MEET THE REQUIREMENT
