Hey guys I’m in the market for a used boat. I got some questions that I’m sure you guys can help me with!
What is is the earliest boat with a removable passenger console? Thats a big one for me. Id like a boat around 20 ft.
Whats is the big difference bewtween the te and trx series?
And my budget is around mid 20’s? Can’t yoh point me in the direction of a model ?

Maybe a xs series as trx seems way too much $
I had four 21xs Elite boats and they were great boats, I actually liked them better than my 22trx I have now. Seems like they may have rode a little better and were a little faster. You can't go work with the 21xs and it has the removable console option.
Hard to beat the XS models. But you’re going to have to spend more than mid 20s to get one.

There is a 21xs at Texas boat world in Killeen Tx, has a lot of hours on it for 27k. I'd bet Cliff would make you a deal on it. Google Texas boat world and look at the used inventory.

I just purchased a 2001 tr-20 and the console is removeable.
I am about to sell my red 2004 TR-20X with an 03 Optimax, just recently purchased this boat less than a month ago but I realized im not in college any longer and fishing is more expensive than fun to me anymore. the compression checked out perfect on all. I actually removed the console when I first got the boat. I purchased the "console replacement" upgade from Chad Ashmore and I made a dual mouth for my 998 SI and HDS 12 Gen 2 and have an HDS 10 Gen 2 up front. They aren’t your every day removable though, you take them out and it leaves scared in your glass.
Care to explain?
He means they may be removable but they were not built to taken out and put back in. If you remove you may have scarring on the glass from the removal process.
That and screw holes and possibly a piece of plastic side trim to have to find, my 04 came new as a single and the dealer installed the passenger console for me.
