Any one have any recommendations on who to contact about a cruise in that part of our world. I have heard some wild numbers on a cruise for two anywhere from 10,000 on up???? Never been on one before other than in my Ranger

Many cruise lines, we went Princess. It was a good cruise. Regardless of which one you do go south to north as opposed to north to south for two reasons. First, the views get better and better going south to north. If you go the other direction it will be kind of anti-climactic. Secondly all food is put aboard the ship in Seattle/Vancouver for the two weeks. Some of the fruits and veggies get a little past their prime at the end of the two week tour.
Well I just got off a cruise last Sat. we went Princes line, about $6,000 with excursions, we flew into Fairbanks from Min-St.Paul airport, did a overland from Fairbanks to Whittier, got on the cruise ship there, and went to Skagway, Juneuo,Ketchikan, then Vancouver, and flew home from there. this is the one we did.https://www.princess.com/learn/cruis...orer/index.jsp The food was out of this world (except the beef, that was tough as hell)
We flew into Anchorage, rented a car and explored for a week, including a small boat (100ft) cruise to see wildlife. Then we rode a bus (nice ride) down to Seward and cruised to Vancouver. Very nice trip.
We didn't spend $10K for the whole thing.
You have to have a passport, because some genius decided a cruise can't leave a US port and go to another US port.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
nothing else matters.
My wife can help you if it's a Disney cruise (they do offer an Alaskan cruise now), just pm me if interested.
yep, one of the people we were traveling with had a DWI back in 1960's, even though he wasn't driving in Canada, cruise ship to bus to airport, they pulled him aside, ended up signing a paper that he would never cross border into Canada again and then escorted him to the airport, the man is 78 years old! and there are people complaining about our borders being too tough!
Check Cruiseone.com. We used Holland American on our Alaska cruise.
Good advise on the south to north thing. We did the reverse and it was a great trip.
We spent maybe $850 to fly Atl to Achorage. The cruise and side trips was maybe $4k it was great. We hope to go again in a package to see Denali too
You can lead a horticulture,
but you can't make her think.
post #2 I've never been on a crusie, a casino ship once lolo.. but eat your fruit am veggies !! Don't get SCURVY
We cruised on the Princess Harmony from San Francisco up and back. I think it was a 12 day cruise and very fun. Looking forward to going it againbut this time with our kids. Not sure about the going rates.
Alaska air is running a special if you wanted to fly there. Buy one ticket get the second for just the taxes.
Go with Princess. Been with them twice. Went last year with a family of 4 and it was less than $10K including air from Boston. Word of advice - do not waste your money on a nice room unless you absolutely have to. Get the least expensive or mid range. Most of the time you are only in your room to sleep. Save the $$$ for excursions. Worse case, just get a porthole view. All the rooms are about the same anyways except for the suites. Same service and all.
We went on Royal Caribbean from Vancouver ...... inside passage going north. Flew home from Anchorage. Great time and scenery beyond description. All total including airfare, hotel in Vancouver and ship excursions was about $12K.
I was told while on the cruise that Carnival,New Holland America, and Princess are now owned by the same company now, bet they all have similar packages just different prices.
