    Max RPM on 2018 200 pro xs

    I recently re-powered my Ranger 519vx with a 2018 Mercury 200 pro xs 2 stroke sn#2B123564 with 18 hrs. At wide open I am running 5600 RPMs according to my smart craft gauge. I understand that the max for the engine is 5750 rpm, my question is should I try to get the last 150 rpms by adjusting my prop or is 5600 close enough to the max rpm for that engine.

    I would keep your current prop for the cooler months, and buy a prop that is 1" lower in pitch for LOADED Summer Time use.
