    RT188 front step

Thinking about buying the Ranger front step for my RT188 trailer... those that have them, what do you think of them?

It is a good design and will hold a lot of weight. It looks odd till you use it and realize it is designed to assist you in entering the boat slightly to starboard so you do not have to step over the trolling motor housing and prop to enter and exit the boat. It is covered in the same Road Armor undercoating as the trailer.

Didn't have one with my first RT, but when I ordered my current RT...I added it to the build after seeing Skeeterbait's. Just like mentioned above, it is a great addition to have and I'm glad I have mine.

I have ordered one for my 18 RT but have not received it yet. I researched all of them and decided on the ranger over the Trick Step as I didn't like the 3 steps. Just a matter of preference really.

I've had the Easy Step for 5 years (before I had a Ranger and before they had a step option). A step and pole is a must option for us manure fellers.
