    Powering Graphs

Ok, got the wiring done on my new fuse block. But I have a new graph and one more to come. Question is anyone powering off of the trolling batteries. Is the any interference to worry about. Thanks

I dont think its recommended glenn. I have read on the electronics forums that having the power wires even routed too close to the tm harness can cause interference. Never experienced anyissues myself but all of mine are off the cranking battery. Actually all 3 of mine are off the fuse panel. That also isnt recommended by a few but ive never had an issue in 6 years so far.

Thanks Roy, I thought this would be the case. I’ve used the fuse block to. No issues. Looks like I’ll be doing it again. Thanks

No problem. Did you use the factory accessory harness to the bow before?

Yes and will again. It works great. Don’t see any reason to change that one. I was wanting to make less draw on the cranking battery.

I can vouch that wiring to the TM battery will cause interference. I just experienced it this past Sunday. My step-dad just got a Garmin 93sv and instead of running the wires to the cranking battery he wired it to his TM battery he has in the front of his tin puddle hopper.

The extra time and money, to power from the cranking battery, is worth it.
