    pop ups on networked graphs

Hello, currently running an 1199 with 360 at bow, networked to a 998 at the bow and an 1198 at the dash. I have the 2d transducer from Ultrex hooked up to the 1199 and use the 998 for mapping, but read the depth from either the 1199 or the 1198 on the 998. I get quite a few pop ups, where it says "can't find tranducer, switch to another source?", or something close to that message.....I say no, and it continues to read depth, but keeps popping back up...is there any way to stop these pop ups?

You may have a bad Ethernet cable or bad port on the Switch for the 998.

Could be a power issue also.

Hmm, doesn't sound like a real easy way to figure this one out. Not having any other power issues in any of my other graphs.

May be a hung IP address as another thing to investigate...

    Try this:

Always allow the source or "master" unit to start fully (1-2 min.) and exit any pop-ups during start of secondary unit(s).

    Lets us know...
