    VST Vent Line

    2004 Mercury Optimax 225 - 0T817222

Does the VST vent line attach to anything on the starboard side of the motor?

Yes if you are asking about the vapor separator hose line that runs from the top of the vapor separator up and to the opposite side of the engine. This is obviously so that you don't have gas vapors venting into your engine. The connection nipple is on the starboard front bottom side of the engine. You will need to take the bottom cowling off to reattach it. I put a tie clip on so it doesn't come off again. Had the same question just last week and confirmed this with Savage.
