    NEW MERC V8 4 STROKE

    Saw this new Merc on the lake last night. Friend of mine just bought the rig this week. It is a BEAST!! awesome rumble at idle, but very quiet WOT! Very Stealthy looking

    My friend got one last week on a 521c. 72mph that’s pretty good for him and his fleet of tackle. His old 521 same model with the opti was barely 69 when it was new.

    I have 20 hrs on mine and couldn't be happier with the new 4S V8. All the things you hear about them are true, quiet, strong hole shot and mid range, no oil tank etc. My Z521L came with a 23 Fury and I can just touch 70 with a full load of gas and a partner in the mornings when it is cooler @ 6150 RPM. I tried a 24 Fury last night and it .5 mph faster still with a excellent hole shot at 5790 RPM.

    I am going to send Mark C the 23 for balance and blue print. And find a 24 for the cooler months.
