    I mentioned it to my wife this evening and she said NO, doesn't want me making the long drive by myself. I will start my wining and crying very soon, hopefully I will be able to sway her a bit.

    Didn't I hear that the duck boat races were the same weekend? Is there anything else going on? I'm still working on the rally, take my truck in for service this monday, engine, trans, transfer case, differential, brakes and what ever else just in case.

    They are running the hole runner race which is a long distance race. Dean we can put some black tape over a 0 on your motor and enter you in the 30 hp class

    From what I have seen, those little rigs flat get it on. Depending on how long the straight aways are there's probably very few big rigs that could keep up. It would be a blast watching.

    The jury is out, I'm booked. Driving to Grove OK Wed Aug 8th to visit with a good friend Scott and his dad (one of my kids). Thursday morning may spend a couple hours on Grand Lake then off to Batesville. Staying at the Ramada. Will be headed west Monday morning. Should be a great time. Bringing all my props and pretty much everything else I may need to keep me running. Who ever else is coming, I will see you there.

    How's the weather supposed to be this week in Batesville? I'll be on Grand Lake Wed and leaving for Batesville Thursday late morning, arriving Thursday afternoon. Do I need to bring a coat and cold weather gear?
