i used rocket mortgage. no complaints. very easy. way more simplified than a traditional bank. If i buy another house, I would use them again. I closed on my house in January.
Refinanced with CapCenter last year. Smooth process and fast closing. Mortgage sold within 10 days, which I expected. Way better rate than if I had gone with the bank that bought the mortgage.

If lending tree is anything like it was when I was in the business you will be harassed by at least 4 lenders to get your business. If you want to shop IMO I would pick who I am shopping.Originally Posted by Zoomworms
My daughter is a mobile closing agent so she sees a lot of different mortgage companies and their paperwork. She says Rocket Mortgage (Quicken) is really good. Less paperwork, less paperwork mistakes, very competitive rates, and the customers seem happier and better informed.

I use Capcenter, it’s awesome! Saved a ton of $$$$$. They only do business in Va and NC, There has to be something similar in your neck of the woods.

Have had truck financed thru E-bank several years ago. I don't care where the $ comes from so long as is the cheapest interest rate available.

I used Lending Tree and could not have been happier. I had a lot of issues with deed, credit, transfers and such and the lender we chose did a great job of fixing them all.
Another Quicken re-fi person here, just closed about 3 weeks ago, pretty painless and convenient.
I sent my info to lending tree and my phone has not stopped ringing! 47 calls yesterday!

Lending Tree bought the building our office used to be in.
For a while we were still operating in the building and I saw first hand the "customer service" employees taking all the phone calls and or emails.
I wouldn't let those people get within a 5000 mile radius of my personal information. The bottom of the barrel got scraped....and the cast offs got jobs at Lending Tree.
I used Quicken Loans now Rocket mortgage it was the best thing i ever did!
