Engine hours do not add up on print out

Looking at a used boat with a 250 ProXS. The hours in the rpm range add up to 110 while the print out itself says 289. Anyone know how that could be? Thank you

Not sure but -could be the hours idling ....or someone could have left the key on and engine not running.

Nope. Engine hours only accumulate when engine is running...key on engine off does not affect run time. Disparity could be as Joe indicated or possibly PCM was replaced.
