    Which Model Triton????

Looking at buying another boat pretty soon and have been checking out Tritons lately.. I don’t much about them other than they are great boats, but like to “dance” at higher speeds... What models are the more stable boats??? Any particular models to steer clear of?? Looking at 20-21’ models. Any insight would be greatly appreciated... I should also mention, this will be a used boat, probably $35-40,000 range or less.

Any of them will walk as you approach 70. Once you learn to control it, it's no big deal

Not likely you get a trx for 40.. The x series would be my choice for overall performance, fishability and resale but you can’t go wrong with any of their 20-21’ boats. From personal experience make sure you pull it off the trailer and check the hull for blisters and hire someone to go over the motor before you write the check...

The X2,X3 and XS are prolly the most stable tritons ever made! They are big and wide!

Get the 06-08 model Tr-21xHp hull. Best all around hull Triton ever made.

Im coming out of a skeeter fx21, really liked that boat, but really like the layout of the tritons. Only problem I see with the Tritons is, you don’t hardly see any 4-strokes in them

06 would be an x series. One of the best rigs they ever made.

There is a 2011 20XS listed on the BBC triton for sale page in Oklahoma for 36K. I have that same boat and really like it. I've had it out in Green Bay and it handles "bigger water" better than most bass boats. She's not fast but she will run 67mph all day long without any walking. Lots of room and really haven't had any problems.
    Best of luck
