    WATER PRESSURE PROBLEM

Buddy of mine bought a Pro Max power head ,complete and installed. Water pressure is fine until RPMS go past 4000 then gauge quivers and drops to 5 psi. Drop RPMS to 3800 and pressure jumps to 15-18 and stays there unless you go above 4000 RPMS or drop to idle. What are we missing? Has new t-stats,water pump. Have had heads off looking for trash in water passages in block.

Has a low water nose cone, yes we were running it in the lake. Does the same thing on the hose. Because he bought power head only, don't have a serial number.

What was the pro Max powerhead installed on? What Mid/Lower? Sometimes they don’t gel together, different passages.

Was mounted on a 200 EFI mid. Was told to use certain mount plates and it would work.
