Buggs Trip Planned

Hoping to make a trip toward the end of July for a couple days on Buggs Island (Kerr Lake). Like to receive a little hint as to what area of the lake the Bass may be more active. I'll probably launch at Ivy Hill at or approximately first light. Thanks to you guys in the great state of Virginia!

I fished a tournament there the other day. Caught a few shallow in Rudd’s early on, then a legit grind for the afternoon. Had several good bites deep (15 ft and deeper) on points that led toward the channel, but didn’t land any of them. Good luck! Caught mine on a crankbait, a Carolina rig and a shakey head.
