    2003 21XDC with 2012 Merc Sport XS 250 Set up

    Just bought the boat. Can anyone give me some set up tips. I do not know the prop to pad height yet as I just got the boat. Where should I start and what would be a good prop? Came with a 28 Trophy. I haven't even ran the boat over 65 yet. The weather was bad when I test drove it.

    Best fishing prop on my boat so far has been a 28 bravo 1... 27 promax is 1-2mph faster but hole shot is just avg. congratulations on the new boat!!!

    No help quys? I'm currently 3/4 above the pad . Ran the 28 trophy with 1/4 tank of gas and partner and could only get 72. I'm going to try and run a bravo and promax but should I go up to 1.5 above the pad? I read the sm likes to run high.

    On a 21 I’d stay where you are for fishin. 28 Bravo 1 dual holes or a 28 Hydro Q4 XOB Will work great.

    If his running a 28P he probably has 1.75 gears.
