Adding a 3rd plus unit, and am curious if I need another NMEA drop cable to connect my Steadycast to it, or if I connect it to Ethernet network with other 2 units, will it share the Steadycast input that way? Thanks!

You will need another drop cable. That is the only way to share nmea 2000 with the plus units.
There is probably a marine electronics company that does bridging of NMEA and ethernet. I'm not aware of it. Generally whatever you have on the NMEA network is only shared to another NMEA wired connection.
Update:
I just found out from Wayne P. that Hbird has been bridging NMEA to ethernet for some years now. That's something to go on the Garmin wishlist.

My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.
Thanks for the replies. This is kinda what I figured but wanted to check.
