Mercury control box questions (circa 2004)

My Triton has a the merc shifter, but I am rigged with a Yamaha.

Having some shift stalling issues.

Question is, does the merc control have a switch in it for neutral?

My controller looks like this one, with the exception of the 'throttle only' and 'start/stop' buttons (of course, because it's from 2004).
