Where does this check valve go ?

Found this under the intake on my 03 3.0 optimax
Cant find it in the parts blow up
No problems that I am aware of

does this possible go in a hole underneath the intake and the VST vent line should be connected to it? At present the trim wires and the pressure hose to the lower unit are in that hole and there is no grommet around them. This unit had the power head replaced about four year ago

It looks like one of the drain tubes for water in the lower cowlings.

That is one of two drains for lower cowl. They are located in the rear on each side.
