Question Ossippee lake public boat ramp

Anyone use this ramp or have a better place to launch? I’m heading up to fish Ossippee and I’ve never been. Any hazards to look for when using the public launch? It’s tough to tell how big that river is when using google earth.

it's fine, a little shallow so trim up and take it easy lots of blind spots. takes about 10 minutes to get thru. if you want to pay you can use the ramp on in the river going into Broad Bay and there's another pay ramp at the far end of Broad Bay before going up to upper and lower lakes. I hope you don't mind pontoons!

I would use a pay ramp before using that dam ramp. Lake Fort I do believe is the one we use when we have a tournament there. It can be really shallow right after you get on the river after going under the bridge. The other thing when you pull your boat your trailer will look like the swamp thing with all the grass you will pull out at the same time.

I used it yesterday. Trim up as suggested and you will be fine. Lakeside Landing is in the river between the main lake and the bays. $20 to launch and park.
