Bought a 17' Z21 with factory installed Lowrance HDS gen3's. Can anyone tell me if they installed a thru hull 83/200 or is the sonar coming from the side scan transducer?
I only see the side scan transducer on the back, so I'm assuming there is a thru hull installed................Yes/No?
Don't think the total scan transducer does sonar. I would say it's though the hull. On the back of the graph 1 blue hook up is power and the other blue will be your sonar and the black is the total scan. If you have yellow that is ethernet that links other graphs in the boat
Totalscan does sonar... lss2 and 3D structurescan do not do sonar.... you may need check under battery tray or quicker way is see if they plugged sonar into back of graph seperate from structure/total
My '17 Z21 had the shoot through epoxied in under the battery storage just in front of the drain plug.

Should have a threw hull , ur total scan only works less than 10mph.. I have both in my boat ..
